Privacy Policy

Slip Sweat (“we”, “the site”) is a free live betslip tracker at slipsweat.com. This policy explains what information the site handles and why. There are no accounts, and we don’t sell personal information.

Information kept on your device

The slips you track, their results, your dashboard and history, and settings such as light or dark mode are saved in your browser’s local storage. They stay on that device and aren’t sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes them, so use Export backup on the History page if you want a copy.

Screenshots

When you add a screenshot, the text is read by software running inside your browser. The image is never uploaded to our servers. The text-recognition program is downloaded from the jsDelivr content network the first time you use it.

Information sent to our server

• Game lookups. To find a game and its live stats, your browser sends us the sport, team names and date for each leg. Our server fetches the data from public sports feeds (ESPN and the official NHL and MLB statistics services) and returns it. We don’t keep a record of these lookups beyond normal hosting logs.
• Shared links. When you create a share link or a streamer overlay, the legs, name and odds of that slip, and the progress shown on your screen at that moment, are stored for 90 days so others can view it and so link previews (for example on Discord or X) can show a picture of the slip. The preview picture never includes your wager or payout. Your wager and payout are included only if you tick the box. Anyone with the link can see the slip.
• Alerts. If you turn on notifications, we store your browser’s push subscription address, the slip’s legs and your alert choices so our server can tell you when something happens. This is deleted when the slip settles, when you turn alerts off, or after 4 days.
• Contact form. Messages you send, with the name and email you choose to give, are kept for up to 180 days so we can reply.
• Misread reports. If you choose to report a slip the site misread, the text it read from your slip (not the image), the sportsbook and the legs it found are kept for up to 180 days to improve the reader.

Anonymous usage counts

To learn which parts of the site work, the app counts a few actions, such as a visit, a slip read successfully, a slip tracked or a share link created. Only daily totals per action are kept, sometimes with the sportsbook name for slip reading. No IDs, cookies, IP addresses or slip contents are stored with these counts. To tell first and returning visits apart, your browser keeps the date of your first and latest visit in local storage on your device; those dates are never sent. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, nothing is counted.

Hosting and logs

The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request information to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We use your IP address briefly to limit how often the contact and report forms can be used.

Advertising and cookies

Slip Sweat shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, measure them and, where allowed, show ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

• You can turn off personalized advertising in Google’s Ads Settings, or opt out of many third-party vendors at aboutads.info.

Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland), you’ll be asked for consent before personalized ads are used, and you can change your choice at any time.

The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts load.

Your choices and rights

• Delete your slips at any time from the slip page, or clear your browser data to remove everything stored on your device.
• Turn alerts off from any slip, or block notifications in your browser settings.
• Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or California law), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold, such as a contact message. Ask us through the contact form.

Age

Slip Sweat is meant for adults of legal betting age where they live. It isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
